Nadja Lancelot has been a professional artist for 35 years. With an MFA in Set and Costume Design, Nadja began her career in California in the world of theater and film. Costuming naturally evolved into a passion for silk dying. Her fascination with the depth of color and texture that could be achieved in silk is what allowed her excel in the medium.

Nadja earned the title of Master Silk Painter in 2017.

Along her journey, Nadja has worked in a variety of mediums including murals, belly casts, mosaics, and ceramics. She is now based in Stockholm, Sweden, and Buxy, France.
